I migrated from Debian 11 to 12 via a fresh install.
Now when I start OpenXcomEx I got a black tiny window with the title "OpenXcom Extended 7.1.2 (v2024-02-24).

I would say everything is installed and configured as in the previouse system. I just copied the ~/.config/openxcom from the old to the new system. I installed the libsdl components.

Never saw such a window. Starting this in terminal doesn't give much usable output. The window closes itself after pressing any keyboard key. The output is just

$ ./OpenXcomEx
INFO: WARNING: this app used SDL_KillThread(), an unforgivable curse.
This program should be fixed. No thread was actually harmed.

For testing purpose I removed the ~/.config/openxcom folder. The behavior does not changed. So I assume the config itself is not the reason.

When will you add a counter for lost armored vehicles to statistics? This is the third year of conversations, but there is no result.

I am not the author of this video.

I am not aware of any conversation or suggestion.

Can you link the conversation thread or the suggestion thread?

Smoke and tanks. In addition, the tank - it's TANK! And it's not so easy to kill even with heavy plasma. In addition, there are a bunch of robots and cyborgs, behind which the infantry hides, like a shield. Armored vehicles lost a lot, yes, but for it there are no strings in the statistics.

That's in the OXC suggestions board, I don't really read that.

But ok, I can have a look.

I have thought it was a feature i.e. the game information where you have used motion scanner is not saved in the save, and the state is therefore not preserved on reload.

then, after load, is it worth return back your TU, which you spent on scanning before saving?

Hi Meridian, https://openxcom.org/oxce/release/ is gone, is that intentional?

It's what my pipelines use to check for new versions (and then build the docker/appimage).

If it is intended, where should I look instead?

No, it's not intentional.

I will ask SupSuper for help.

No, it's not intentional.

It seems to have returned, my pipelines no longer fail. Thanks!
