Subject: Osiron Boss Interrogation Report

Osiron bosses are (obviously) high-ranking officers within Osiron. They tend to live on smuggling, selling and stealing alien artifacts like those we found on the Beauty of the Seas last month. However, it should be noted that they are surprisingly well connected for gang members. However, he did mention something about "The Syndicate". We should investigate what this "Syndicate" is as soon as possible.

X-COM agents had been deployed to intervene in a gang war against Red Dawn in a small Russian town, which resulted in at least 11 suspects being captured by our agents. They will be interrogated accordingly when possible, though it should be noted that ten gangsters were killed in the engagement. Agents Leclercq and Wanjiru were also badly wounded, but they should be fine in about a month. The media is already in the area, alongside local police, who should deal with the gangsters.

Red Dawn instigates Gang War near Novosibirsk!

Earlier today, authorities outside Novosibirsk intervened in the final stages of a gang war of some kind, where local city gangsters were engaged in a brutal street by street battle with Red Dawn terrorists, 11 of which were apprehended by police earlier today, alongside the local gangsters involved. Two unidentified gunmen were also seen in the scene of the gang war, and managed to escape police custody. If anyone has seen these unidentified suspects, please contact the local authorities.

X-COM agents responded to unusual weather patterns forming up in the southeastern part of Lake Baikal, and have encountered some sort of unknown lifeform which our agents have appropriately named the "Spitter". Four of them managed to kill the civilians who witnessed the event, despite X-COM managing to clear out the area of these lifeforms. We have brought in the bodies for the purposes of studying them.

Subject: X-COM: PAU General Strategy Recommendations

After being operational as X-COM: PAU for the past three months, my intelligence officer has recommended a complete expansion of X-COM's on-site staff at X-COM HQ, in addition to the expansion of EASTCOM. She recommended recruiting a chief researcher with a biochemistry and physics background, a professional xenologist, which would mean someone who is specialised in understanding the aliens, with Dr. Vincent still not being an option due to his assumed identity, and then we have a military envoy and chief engineer to recruit for the purposes of manufacturing any new alien-derived pieces of equipment. It should be noted that they will have to come to us ourselves, so if the Council has any possible candidates that are willing to step up, feel free to notify my intelligence officer.

Subject: MiB Agent Interrogation Report

As per our interrogation with our unidentified agent, we've manage to confirm that the man works for an organisation known as the "Men in Black", which at first seem average, but per our first encounter in the field, are trained and equipped to the highest level possible; possibly more so than our own agents. They are also programmed for maximum efficiency, ruthlessness and tenacity, so we cannot expect to capture one alive without effort. They also seem to have had some kind of "memory wipe" or blockade, so extracting specific information from them will be a serious issue. If this is true, then I can only suspect that some members of the Council may even be funding this organisation, but we will not know for certain until we figure that out, and even then, it is unlikely that my suspicions are correct.

Subject: Alien Embryo Research Report

This report, per our analysis of what was inside this tube, is likely to confirm that this is an alien embryo of some sort, just waiting to be implanted into either an Earth woman's womb or grown in a lab. And by the looks, this particular case seems to indicate the specific embryo was meant for the former before we had secured it. This is deeply disturbing news to say the least, and if this confirms those abduction stories of the past...well, we may have a problem.

Subject: Boussé UFO Incident After Action Report

After a sighting of a UFO by radar over the DRC, X-COM agents were able to track the UFO's landing site to a locale just 8.80 km outside of the nearby town of Boussé, hence the name of the report. X-COM agents arrived in the site and managed to eliminate the aliens in the UFO as well as recover the craft with help from local military forces and Council Salvage Teams once the UFO was cleared. Agent Savchenko had sustained some significant injuries from plasma burns, but she should be fine in about two weeks. Yet she proved herself as a valuable asset to X-COM in battle and I have to admit; it takes some serious bravery for someone to get hit by a plasma round, survive and still keep killing the enemy. We can definitely say that she and Agent Agbaria have proven themselves in combat and become comparable to Agents Bilenga and Leclercq after the Budapest Incident earlier in January.

Of course, this being our second encounter with the aliens means that we should have these be useful in providing X-COM with additional specimens for further study, alongside the dismantled equipment recovered from the alien craft.

Small Town in Burkina Faso Reports "Battle" Between "Alien" Forces and Unknown Agents

Unidentified agents had reportedly been seen in a battle against what some residents who witnessed the "battle" outside the small town of Boussé described as "grey, human-like creatures" with "plasma weapons". They also described the agents as "well-equipped", with one of them claiming to have seen one of the agents "survive the weapons fire and kill the attacker". Despite official skepticism towards the reports of alien activity, the eyewitness description of this incident has been noted by our reporters as "eerily vivid", and with the local military forces having reportedly been cordoning off the area, one can only wonder if the reports of "alien" activity may be accurate for once, given the claims made during the Budapest Incident earlier this year.

We've managed to respond to a series of reports regarding a "zombie" outbreak near the Egyptian-Israeli border. Although we were able to clear out the zombies and X-COM did manage to even identify and recover the remains of a previously unknown type of "zombie", Agent Mandukhai was killed in the operation. We should begin R&D on the remains of this new type of zombie immediately; it may be a possible means for the zombie parasite to spread.

Unknown Agents Contain "Zombie" Outbreak, Eyewitnesses Say

Earlier today, unknown agents similar to the ones seen over these past few months, have managed to contain a major "zombie" outbreak near the Egyptian-Israeli border according to eyewitnesses. Local government officials announced that an investigation into the so-called "zombie" outbreak will be launched and will have a final report at some point next year, alongside Canada. X-COM agents had been attempting to respond to an anonymous tip by the Indian military as to the whereabouts of a Red Dawn base in India; a big surprise given the geographical area they usually operate in. However, X-COM agents were able to clear out the Red Dawn base and even capture a significant portion of the base's occupants, including the base's leader. Yet during the fight, Agents Schroeder and Tsvetanov were killed, meaning another two replacements will be necessary for future operations. X-COM has dealt a crippling blow to Red Dawn and the capture of a significant portion of the base's personnel speaks volumes as to how crippled Red Dawn has become.

Red Dawn Base in India Destroyed by Indian military forces

Indian military forces had managed to locate and destroy a Red Dawn base of operations in India, during which two soldiers were killed during the ensuing battle. Government officials have reported that a significant portion of the base's occupants were captured, including former Russian defence minister Sergey Sokolov, who was reportedly visiting the base for unknown reasons, though he is suspected of having collaborated with Red Dawn. As a result of his arrest, the Russian government has requested his extradition back to Russia, where he is to be tried and imprisoned as a traitor according to Russian state media. With a former Soviet high-ranking officer being reported as working for Red Dawn, there is uncertainty building up in the Kremlin, and the situation seems to only further spiral out of control.

Subject: Sectoid Autopsy Report

The autopsy of the creature we have come to call a "Sectoid" has revealed vestigial organs and a surprisingly simple structure. The brain and the eyes are well developed, sure but...the structure seems to suggest some kind of genetic manipulation or mutation. The small mouth and nose seem to elude function, and on top of that, the webbing between the fingers and flat feet suggest aquatic origins. We also noticed that there seems to be no reproductive organs anywhere and is likely, as we have suspected, a genetically engineered species. Given this information, it is likely these things aren't the ones leading the upcoming invasion of Earth, but rather they are just the first wave.

X-COM agents were able to locate and rescue Dr. Vincent after a fierce fight with MiB forces in the US state of North Dakota, Dr. Vincent is still alive at this time. However, it should be noted that Agents Ruiz, Savchenko and Wanjiru were all killed during the operation. It was also reported by Agent Vazquez that they were also equipped with some kind of energy weapon; likely implying that they could be cooperating with the aliens. As of today, our objective is to study what we can from what MiB forces left behind.

Operation: Lotus Killer After Action Report

X-COM agents had responded to an MSS report that Black Lotus members operating in the Philippines were setting up some kind of meeting in Davao City, and captured at least ten suspects for the purposes of interrogation. They are currently being held at EASTCOM rather than the usual X-COM HQ interrogations, which could soften the pressure here at X-COM HQ for our scientists. Davao City Police Raid Black Lotus Meeting

Davao City mayor Rodrigo Duterte has told reporters that Black Lotus terrorists meeting in the city engaged in a brutal firefight with local authorities that were attempting to arrest them. Ten suspects were apprehended in the fight, with the mayor praising the city's police for "protecting this city and the nation from Black Lotus' dangerous influence". The Philippine government has offered no comment, but it is becoming increasingly likely that the Philippines will join a growing list of Asian states in the fight against Black Lotus. Commander,

Even though my old self would say "never trust a goddamn Commie", I got to admit, the evidence you presented about some alien troublemakers is surprisingly convincing. I'll be heading to X-COM HQ on the double. I'll explain more when I get there.

Sincerely,
Lt. Col. Leonardo de Santos

Subject: Red Ops Soldier Interrogation Report

One of the suspects we had captured during the assault on the Red Dawn base in India is likely what we would refer to as a "Red Ops Soldier". Red Ops is a military formation of Red Dawn; the elite kind. These soldiers have significant combat experience, are well equipped and capable, making them extremely dangerous in the field, which Agents Schroeder and Tstevanov learned the hard way. They are used for special assignments whenever significant combat is expected, but thankfully, there are very few of them according to our suspect and with the base in India destroyed, there are even fewer of these soldiers. Like the other Red Dawn members, they are also biologically enhanced for reasons that should be obvious by now.
