Is it possible to upgrade from 2.8 to 3.5? Or I should restart?
Dropped the game for 1 year and wow, so many updates. You didn't waste time Solarius, don't you?

I mostly didn't. :q

I'm not sure if your save will still work, but it should; in the worst case, some of your items or researches might disappear.
Make sure to try updating in Geoscape, not in battle.

It works. But my fear is that something will be broken. Like researches disappear and others will not appear. Some questlines stuck, e.t.c.

It is possible. But if you run into a serious problem, like not being able to progress due to this, you can always hack your save. (And ask here for help.)
