If I am permit to ask for a request on this thread, can you make a worm like creature? Like a gouald larve type worm from stargate. That would be nice.

I would need a ton of graphics for my From the Ashes mod, so any contribution to it is very welcome! What kind of requests could fit this tread? Only weapon sprites? Or could it be also terrains, armors, units?

One of these?
Spoiler:

I can give it a try.

feel free to use/share/change/question/cheddar - and dont forget all Credit to Ryskeliini for the spritework/concept. I just put the ruleset stuff together.
I got a face hugger. It's easy to make a unit from this images..

I combined Drages 'Face Hugger' images with fragments from Arpia's 'Scout Drone'.

The 'Face Hugger' images had no animation frames and were too large to use in their default form. So some pruning of the tail was necessary along with the creation of additional frames of animation. I also tried to add the little fin things behind the snake head seen in pictures of the Goa'uld snake.

The result seems functional, I'm especially happy with the unit's death animation.
(The way it writhes across the ground when it is moving is slightly disturbing though.)
Spoiler:

To use it you will need to use drawingRoutine: 4 (Civilian, Ethereal), I think...
(It should be drawingRoutine: 4, as I believe that is what Arpia's 'Scout Drone' uses and the sprite sheet layout is based off of that.)

Be aware that the sprite set for Arpia's 'Scout Drone' was drawn by Ryskeliini so please give credit where credit is due.

@The Martian
You should not look too much to drawing routines, in OXCE you can effective roll your own, it could have lot more frames than normal game could even support.

Somebody might cone up with a vessel named "thunderhorse"?

I can give it a try.

When I followed your google link there were a lot of ships with external wing like attachments connected by thin beams. So I tried to make something like that.

Here is the craft's Base sprite:

This craft was made using fragments from Mrcalzon02's sprites found HERE. If you do use it please make sure you credit him.

There are two different versions of the Dogfight image and also a Minimized icon.

The first Dogfight version I tried to keep the traditional colours for the craft dogfight icon, but my attempt looks kind of janky:

The second one uses colours not normally found on the Dogfight icon, however this fortunately appears to render correctly on the geoscape so it may be worth using instead:

Here is the Minimized icon:

I may have made Dogfight & Minimized image in the wrong palette... but they seem to function when I tested them so it is probably fine.
(If they give you trouble run them through Falko's OXC-ModTools: Palette converter using the "set-palette(ufo-geo)" setting.)

I've also attached some screenshots of the craft sprites being used in-game:
Spoiler:

Alternatively you may wish to check out this post by Duke_Falcon in the "Altoid aliens" thread. There are some interesting craft sprites he made attached to it that could be of use.

You should not look too much to drawing routines, in OXCE you can effective roll your own, it could have lot more frames than normal game could even support.

On the UFOpaedia site's "Ruleset Reference (Nightly)" section I'd noticed the deathFrames: variable allowed the extension(Or reduction) of the number of frames used in a unit's death animation but I was not aware that you could custom the entire sprite sheet's animation sequence.

I am very interested in the customized drawing routines you described. Could you please link to the documentation that explains their use?

I haven't been able to get the map editors to work on my computer yet so for the moment that version of the Thunderhorse will have to be a interception craft unless someone else provides the required map data.

If you want to give it a try there are some excellent tiles provided by Hellrazor I saw in the "Graphic Gallery" thread which may help you in the construction of a craft battlescape map.

These one's specifically:
