How do you even use ogres in general? In my opinion, they have a lot of flaws.
First, there are few of them. Secondly, if they get damaged, they will spend a couple of months in the infirmary. Third, they have quite a few action points. Fourthly, almost all of their equipment is a dead end in the technology tree. Fifth, they don't have camouflage and invisibility, and they can't fly early. They don't have SENSE, very strong eyesight, unique supportive abilities or vehicles that only they can use.
They have a little more armor compared to girls, but girls can find armor earlier, especially in the form of loot.
They have a couple of unique bonuses and the ability to carry a little more weight than an ordinary ubergal.
There is even a regeneration of freshness.

It is very difficult to use them effectively in the first year. And even in second one before the invention of vampire swords. In my opinion, they should be buffed in early-mid game. Especially the time they spend in a hospital bed.
