Just did one of the new shadowlands and got this. I assume it's for the lost souls that were on the map in the cages.
Btw how do you capture them then? There are recipes that uses them now.

Is there any point in keeping hunting party around after doing all primal hunts? It appears they are all one time missions.

Would be nice to rework alenium chamber needing study room to something else because now with analytic rooms the only thing that grants study is personal lab and you can only ever have 3 of those (and 2 are hidden behind unique buildings after long quest chains).

There are way more jack tokens now since you will be fighting a LOT of ninjas, and every single one drop a badge. After 2 ninja bases I had like over 100 of them - over 1500 tokens right there. So gambling is viable, just not early game.

No idea why but crackdowns are happening twice now. I've had two crackdowns now, one by rats and second by ninjas, and after winning the first one I have to fight the exact same battle the second time (minus my losses). That intended or is rng playing tricks on me?

It says in the patch notes there are like over 12 new missions, but I'm now nearing end of first year and haven't seen anything new. When do they start appearing? Or maybe they have a trigger that I've missed like some research or something?

I had 3 gal distress calls already and none of them had actual gal to rescue. Is that normal?

I am eager to get the shadow lamp, but all attempts to shot down the roaming little suckers end up blowing them up. I`ve tried several types of weapons all with the same result.

It is maybe a bug or am I missing something? THX

Protip: there are two types of swarms. The ones with the radar always blow up. You want the ones without the radar.

Huh, guess I've been playing this wrong. So me delaying research like winter palace mission or dr x interrogation in order to not trigger these two missions (they are a pain in the ass without hovertanks) were a mistake? Since they will spawn again later if I ignore them, right?

What happens to unique one time missions (like x-prison, siberia base, dr x mansion etc.) if you allow them to despawn? Do they eventually respawn or are they lost and you're screwed?

So I've been shadowing craft with the mission in the pacific when suddenly it lands in the middle of the ocean and the map is cydonia surface instead of landed ufo.
I assume this is a bug because there was no craft on the map, just the crew.
Here's a screenshot and a save in that mission so you can check the geoscape location.

So i just got bomber promotion for smacking to death 3 (prone) enemies with a hammer in a single turn in dungeon of death. That's some dynamite hammer

Picked grey to try the new stuff. Is is normal to receive "a message from red oni" event multiple times that does nothing after that first time? Because I get it regularly.
