Hi, I will pin my issue here.
I'm playing on a 17-inches laptop with native resolution of 1960x1080. If I set the game to a resolution higher than 1024x768 the lower part does not fit into the window (as in the screenshot). The zoom is set up to 1.5. Can you advise? Thx.

Yes, this mod is the best indeed. It really gives the feeling of desperation to the game.

Is there any info about vulnerabilities and resistances of alien races (just like You gave earlier in this post about Mutons and Snakemen)?

Try to rename folder from [AwesomeGuns-1.6] to [AwesomeGuns] and tell the result. In addition, you can try this patch.
Rnaming the folder worked. Thanks for assistance and thanks for this great mod. Looks gorgeous and plays superbly.

Does this mod work with newer nightlies? I can't get it  to work with 2017-08-01 nightly. I've copied the nightly ruleset file into the AwesomeGuns-1.6 folder, the mode shows up on the list in the game, but when I turn it on - nothing happens. Game restarts properly, no errors but when I start to play it is vanilla version.

Hi,

Is there a mod that creates additional inventory slots on soldier's chest? I was once playing with several mods (for sure there was "Extra Pockets" by TurkishSwede or "Quick-Draw Hip Slot" by Arpia, some basic terran armors mods - can't remember which one) and I was surprised to see such a feature. Then my usb drive I kept the game on crashed and now I can't recreate it. Weird thing was that I was unable to put anything in those chest slots during battle, there was always "not enough TU" message. Chest slots area was quite big, 5 slots by 6 I think, You could store SSRL's there. Maybe I got some funny mod mix-up? Any ideas?

I will continue the "polish takeover" of this site. My name's Paul, I'm from Warsaw, I'm 35. First played Xcom when it was originally published in the 90-ties (I bought it from the gielda na Grzybowskiej - polish members, at least those from Warsaw, will now :-P
Generally I'm a wargamer buff, so I always longed for more realism in Xcom - I think that for me, the best Xcom version would be based on Steel Panthers or Combat Mission engines. Anyway, for last two or three months I was completely sucked into the OXC - great work guys, congrats

So You can't use gas masks and grav armors mods at the same time. I'm providing savegames, soldiers equipped with gas masks appear on the battlescape looking like wearing flying personal armor, although it is a graphic glitch because agents can't fly. Playing on nightly 2014_07_13_1751.

Because when I installed both mods and equiped soldiers with gas masks (at the begining of the game, no advanced armor researched) on battlescape they appeared equipped in flying personal armors...

It is not connected with statstring mod. I can confirm, that such a problem exists and it persists since version 0.9 - i'm not able to pinpoint an actual build number. Currently I'm playing with statstring mod on, but earlier I didnt use it. I've encountered the problem in pure 1.0 version and at last in two different 0.9 builds.
Just like Sydor presented it, it happens when Ypu select crew members for your Skyranger. If You deselect soldier (remove him from the craft) there is a strong chance that can't be selected again - not before reloading the game. Clicking on him do nothing.
I'm attaching the savegame (ver 1.0 git 2014-06-20 17:54), although after reload everything works ok.

I could'not assing any of them back to the craft. Moving them up/down with arrows don't change anything (Gupta was moved up, Messimer was moved down).
