What if sometimes when you shot down a ufo there was some debree that was blocking the exit? (or just scattered around the ship in general) it would add alot of reasons to buy demolition charges early in game and it would allow some of the aliens to choke on smoke (which seems pretty cool if you ask me) i think it could be a pretty good concept if it was refined some more, any suggestions?

well one cool thing that could come out of this could be that not only could you load multiple missiles, shells or whatever you could also take the bullets out of partially used magazines and fill up empty ones (since you can make magazines re loadable by default if i remember right) you could also have ammo boxes that a unit could hold and use to replenish the ammo or other units (which would add a role for a quartermaster which i think would be pretty neat) so just a thought

well keep in mind that x-com's default rifle only uses a 6.7mm round... i doubt that even a muton could hold up very well to a 50bmg  :P

agreed, maybe do something like all of the aliens that aren't in your squad's sights is skipped or sped up 50x? also, we should have separate shooting speeds in the options, one for x-com and one for aliens

I think that's what Falko did, more or less. The only difference is that in his mod, you can wear broken armours.

that doesn't seem like a very good idea considering how many holes the corpses have on them

how about you recover the corpses then, depending on what they were wearing, you can "repair"  them with engineers (pretty much like making something except cheaper).  like maybe for "fixing it up" a suit you have to pay 50% of the cost it took to produce it in raw cash, and 25% of the alien alloys and if its powered by elerium, you have to replace all of it because it exploded (or something like that) does that sound good?

since you can have more than 1 plane attack a ufo at the same time it would be nice to be able to select multiple ships to deploy at the same time so you can do it without waiting for them to take off again if you even want that to happen

it would be cool if we could have a tftd styled base defense (sorry if this is off topic) where you have aliens trying to get inside of your base where you have fortifications setup to stop them, and then you had your second layer of your base which is just whatever you have it setup as, what do you guys think?

The so called "Contracts" I thought of are generally weapon and item requests. These requests have a time limit to deliver the required items and expiration will decrease the country's opinion of you. Success will not only increase the country's opinion of you, but earn you more money than the requested items are worth in the market. Countries who have signed pacts with the aliens may request items as well and will reward you more money than they are worth all the same.

wouldn't that be more like craigslist?
