Does anyone ever use the shiv, bamboo spear, stone axe or bone club?
Also curious about the pipe, although I occasionally find myself tooling someone up with a pipe for backup. The other four though, I've basically never used.
Yes, that was whole point of releasing it.
@Dioxine: I, personally, am loving the direction this mod is heading in. I fully encourage you to trust your instincts and put whatever you deem interesting and fun into the mod! Please keep up the great work, I look forward to spending many, many more hours fighting off Marsec invasions, killing dragons, or stepping into the gates of hell to team up with DOOMguy and murder demons! (Ok, that last one was mine... but wouldn't that be cool?!)
Yes. 400% is base x4. It should also be noted that resistance comes before armor but after a weapon rolls damage. So high resist, middling armor value outfits are actually quite sturdy particularly against high rolls from big guns.
It doesn't matter all that much, if one is to believe the latest WikiLeaks report. It's not even an issue of CIA having hacked basically every notable platform, OS and community protocol. Even more worrying is the fact that all these hacking tools have long since leaked out and are available to anyone who can steal or buy them. The best way not to get f*cked seems to be not worthy of being f*cked; then, the worst can happen is becoming part of a botnet (or several). Anonymity on internet is a myth.
Not saying that one shouldn't be careful and guarded by security software; but such protection only makes sure you won't get swamped by random malware and adware. If someone wants to break it, they will.
99.99% percent of the time nothing will ever happen but the one in a million will supremely bite the end user in the butt. Be cautious and aware of the possibilities.
