OpenXcom will always be free. However, as much as we’d like it, this isn’t our job, some of us don’t even have a job. We work on this project in our spare time with no compensation, purely driven by our dedication and fanaticism for X-COM.
If you enjoyed OpenXcom and would like to show your support monetarily, you can do so below. We appreciate your support, no matter how small. All donations are used to pay for assorted project costs and distributed among the lead team members. You do not need to register for a PayPal account to make a donation.
By making a donation to the OpenXcom project you signify that you acknowledged, understood, accepted, and agreed to the terms and conditions contained in this notice. All donations are done via the PayPal secure payment platform, which holds full responsibility over your payment information. Your donation to the OpenXcom project is voluntary and is not a fee for any services, goods, or advantages, and making a donation to the OpenXcom project does not entitle you to any services, goods, or advantages. We have the right to use the money you donate to the OpenXcom project in any lawful way and for any lawful purpose we see fit and we are not obligated to disclose the way and purpose to any party unless required by applicable law. Although OpenXcom is free software, to our best knowledge the OpenXcom project does not have any tax exempt status (the OpenXcom project is neither a registered non-profit corporation nor a registered charity in any country). Your donation may or may not be tax-deductible; please consult this with your tax advisor. We will not publish/disclose your name and e-mail address without your consent, unless required by applicable law. Your donation is non-refundable and issuing a chargeback will be penalized.
