It could break the save, that's why I make sure to have the pause menu open first, because from what I've seen you can't open it when it's saving. but yes your way is much safer.

So basically just whenever you have money. Cool stuff.

Oh shoot, I didn't see the tu cost. I had no idea it worked on the beach though, that'll be a lifesaver next time.
I'll definitely keep those other weapon recommendations in mind. thanks.

The Crossbow is for the beach and the Spypistol for all other covert missions. It took me a very long time to figure out why such a crappy gun (Spypistol) is so expensive. It also excels as a training pistol because it is 1x1, has 11 shots, weights only 5 and has both crappy accuracy and crappy damage. A bit like the dart pistol in TFTD.

Sure, I got that straight away. You're very good at presentation. :)

Thanks. You make good mods.

And the team finally gets to the mission site.
The van takes a few days to get them on target and Skandalis never shuts up.

Radoslav: "Any friendly fire incident aimed at him will be declared purely accidental and the perpetrator will not be investigated. Now, who volunteers? Don't make me pick! Shut up Skandalis!!!"

All of them showed up. Three of them have throwing knifes and these are dangerous. One has only an electric club and is harmless.

Next turn. None of the Black Lotusians brought a gun. I can't just walk to them and stun them though because of their throwing knives.

OK, the three dangerous ninjas are down. What a shame. 30000 24000 in organs is lost. Lets catch the last one alive though.

Outcome. I should bring Skandalis more often. I hope some other fun name crops up from the random number generator.

I'll definitely keep those other weapon recommendations in mind. thanks.

You should do your homework and compare their statistics yourself. Other people have recommended weapons, like MP5, that I don't really like, or that work well, but I don't like using a lot (miniguns).

In other news I found out a new armor type NONE. I wonder what that is, may be we should try it in the Jungle monster hunt. The crew of Naked and Afraid was abducted by aliens, so they asked X-Com to substitute.

*** VIEWER REGRESSION IS ADVISED ***

The following post contain a mild amounts of pixelated nudity and unholy amounts of chest hair. The posts after that might contain even more, albeit even more pixelated, nudity. A link to the end of this insanity will be provided for people who strictly adhere to the "Boobs NO, bloody gruesome violence YES" philosophy of entertainment.

EDIT: Here is link. https://openxcom.org/forum/index.php/topic,8430.msg130836.html#msg130836

 :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :'(

The team prepares for their daily episode of X-Com Files Naked and Afraid.

I wonder who will we need to interrogate to get the NONE armor's Combat Analysis? Nonist covert mission?

Let's see what naked fate has in store for us.

By the way, the agents found some swimwear. Literally "by the way", by the way. It was left lying on the road, near a bus stop.

HINT:

A very short mission indeed. I was hoping for chupacabras or something else without ranged attacks.

It was a bug, I swear! The OXCE underwent some changes regarding how armours work and what was hidden is now known. (Well, not any more...)
But let's be honest, what's the point making an armour if it is never seen?

And yes, that's how frog missions usually go for me. Beware the frog.

Hidden!? I assume someone is ashamed that they forgot to add the sprites for the battlescape.

Maybe it should be available for Beach missions. Or may be an entire nude beach infiltration mission. I almost made it an all male mission so readers could feel like they are on a real nude beach.

This is the first time bullfrogs have defeated me. I guess I never started near them before.

Also, weren't bullfrogs a bit bigger?
It is a 2x2 monster, but the sprite looks like 1x1 unit.

I've never seen a logical reason to introduce the nude armour, so it's unused now. Adding it just for the lulz doesn't seem appropriate.

I have never changed the frog, it's the same size as always.
