My memory may play tricks on me, but I seem to remember (in the OG) having MC'd only one segment of a 2x2 unit... So it saw the remaining three parts of it as hostile.
It was cool and intriguing.

Yes, that is what happened. You could MC a sectopod as an easy way to kill it. Interestingly enough, it did not react to its own movement. But you could have the controlled segment shoot another segment, and the other segment would reaction fire back, until it was dead. As the sectopod's weapon was laser and they are weak to laser, this works even on Superhuman. It's almost as if they did it that way on purpose.

Another trick you could do with a cyberdisc or sectopod was MC it, use up its time units, MC another quadrant, repeat. You could use up the unit's TUs four times per turn if you had the ability to keep MCing them.

Spring is delaying the end a little bit with a pollen allergy. But don't worry T'leth is going to fall anytime soon.

T'leth level two ! We use DPLs, a lot of them, to take down this part. And I gotta say that the layout was draining. What a terrible place.

Sadly not everyone made it to part three.

Level 2 is rough, level 3 should, hopefully, just be tedious!

IIRC Level 3 isn't even tedious. There's a bit of maziness and then you get to the main chamber.

R.I.P. *xcomcmdr, killed by a tentaculat.

It's just tedious in the sense that you get an initial wave of enemies, then 20 turns of running out of energy as you wind around a large and empty map, then one more turn of enemies near the end.

That's what PWT launchers are for tho. ._.

Every wall is destructible. It's just a matter of how determined you are to not go around.

I did not research PWT and lost my only sonic tank. We will have to walk but I'll try to push forward since the level is linear and I do not have to be careful anymore.

I hoped the tentaculat would go for the mind controlled aliens but nope.

By the way, it's hilarious that I got the worst soldier who panic at any moment.

Oh I meant the DPL. My mistake.
But you're low on DPL ammo so it might not work.

I did want to mention, however, that you could have gotten through some of those walls easier with a bit more perseverance. When the wall breaks and still blocks you, it just means you have to shoot it again. The alien reanimation (blue pods containing aquatoids) can be destroyed in 4 shots, because they take up 2 spaces.

I just finished recording, all that is left is to cut it properly.

I am drained but not as drained as Cthulhu's tomb.

And this is the end of this long campaign. Thank you for watching, commenting and all. I hope it was nice and that my English was not completely terrible.

I thought your French accent was cool, and it was one of the reasons I enjoyed watching this, both because you had a funny way of saying things and because it was fun to listen to you strive to speak English more clearly. You're also very good at this game. There were a few points where I felt I could have done better, but also times when you clearly did better than I could have, and certainly times when I would have save-scummed a bit but you did not. I refuse to play Ironman, so props to you for that. I consider myself very good at the game, and I'd say you're about as good as I am if not better.
