Thanks for this great project. Think I'm somewhere in between past 10 now? The first time I played, a long time ago, I actually completely bounced off this game. I couldn't figure out how to use melee weapons well and went on night missions (because I had heard my Ubers were better at seeing in the dark) except I didn't know about the 'Night-Vision' mode so I was just shooting enemies in complete darkness o_o. In short, I didn't read, and did die.
I'm Currently exploring the sectoweed-smoking power of ?Hybrid Life?. Also think I'm finally going to try Sainthood, as a Dumbass Grey. Still need to actually beat the game sometime though....... : P Last playthrough was Golden Cats ^ʘ‿ʘ^. That one was a lot of fun, I think the furthest I had gotten in year 3.
It's grown to such an immense thing over the years, eclipsing the base game by an amount I can't even make a metaphor for - and it's not filled with grindy crud either, but full of endless booty to plunder, weapons to try, and funky captives to interrogate
I wish I had time tracking on my playtime because I have spent an endless amount of hours on this free mod, far more than many games I've bought. It's far past time I give an equivalent sum to my enjoyment.
