« on: April 22, 2016, 03:12:43 am »
This is a newb question but, i was wondering what means ( Checking Bootypedia) the Special: Armor +-xx%.

Does it means is less effective vs enemy armor? what means if its a negative percentage or a positive one?

A positive means armor is more effective. Negative means less effective.

Eg. Armor -20% means enemy armor is only 80% effective against that weapon.

If it helps - the weapon does less damage on (Armor +XX%) than on (Armor -XX%).

Well not necessarily, Armor +x% will make the weapon much worse at penetrating enemy armor, and the opposite if it's Armor -x%.
But otherwise Armor -x% doesn't actually make the weapon all that much better against already low armor targets (like a sectogre or something).

Not sure how many "almost ignore armor but don't actually do all that much damage" weapons exist in the game at the moment though. :-)

I rate Star Gods' ghost beams as such - low damage but 90% penetration :)

Also with huge raw damage, an armor needs to be really thick to make a difference - katana is an example of such a weapon.
