Those flashbangs are murder. 1 for a cyberdisc?! Hum...

Cyberdiscs take 60% damage from high explosives, preventing even large rockets from killing them most of the time. But they take 100% from stun weapons. That's 66% extra damage from equivalent listed damage!. I guess flashbangs (and any other AoE stuns) are really great for taking them on, good to know!

Well done on the defence. The solid block of sectoid corpses at the entrance was pretty funny to see. I was surprised you did not use smoke to hide your snipers so they could step out and fire/throw without fearing reaction fire.

Good point about the smoke.  I never really considered it.  The shooting gallery hallway was long enough that I knew those at the far end usually wouldn't spot or be spotted by enemies near the access lift.  I'll employ smoke midchamber next time, me thinks. ;)

Nice one RandomCommander! :)

Ivan, we want better pistols! I might start a demonstration amongst soldiers :P Even just a laser pistol can do a lot more damage than a regular one to a muton! (20-28 armor vs 26*0.6 = 16 AP or 46 Laser damage).

Plus, we get to shout "Pew Pew" as we shoot! (Lasers are silent, right? It's the soldier making the noise..!)

Pew Pew!~!  ( And they sound so nice in the HQ Sound Pack)

I just wish they were more accurate, and thus, more useful.   But yeah, against Mutons, we'd be better off throwing rocks!  but Sectoids and Floaters??  .45 Caliber death is just so nice!
