That's very helpful, I've got GMBIGMAR, and I should have any Victory slideshow music in a few minutes(ish). Still don't have GMATTBAS though. I'm guessing that's the briefing for Alien Artifact/Colony attack missions. Can you share a Geoscape save from just before you attacked T'Leth?

Hmm, I think I have...
Yes game 2. Here you go.

I hope you didn't get too many of my aquanauts killed. I remember them fondly. It was the first time I finished TFTD!

I'll see if I can fish out GMATTBAS when I get home.

And capturing is complete!

I've got everything except GMSIG (which doesn't seem to be used by the game), including a Victory and Defeat slideshow musics that don't have corresponding file names.

I need filenames for the two unknowns, and I need to process and cut the captures. This should be ready to publish in a day or two.

The last two files are in the cat as
Tune 20 - Music for the floppy outro: win
Tune 21 - Music for the floppy outro: lose
I can only guess that we dont know the original filename because they weren't included with the windows version. If I had to make up a new name based on the floppy intro they'd be something like GMNEWWIN and GMNEWLOS.

I can't recall anywhere GMSIG gets used either. Actually listing to it it just sounds like the first 26 seconds of the floppy intro.

Processing and cutting is done, and it's ready to zip it up and publish.

Can I get an authoritative answer regarding filenames? SupSuper?

Since they have no official filenames, just call them something easily identifiable like GMWIN and GMLOSE. :P

Related to TFTD music, but not important enough to warrant its own thread;

Found some TFTD mp3 files buried among my files, remembered that I got them from here; Since the GameFront link in the description is dead, I decided to share:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tpsh8enqreyhr6r/TFTD%20Music%20MP3%20Original.rar
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5zlhlok4gtu5f7o/TFTD%20Music%20Ogg%20Online%20Converted.rar

Don't know if these are a fan remasters, legit MIDI playback you can actually hear ingame or a CD redbook.

NOTE: Since the one who originally made these apparently used the CD version, GMNEWINT, GMLOSE, GMWIN are missing due to them being replaced by FMVs, and so is GMWAITLO, which sounds like a shortened GMGEO6, so they probably made a mistake and missed it (and I substituted GMWAITLO with GMGEO6 in the files).

Due to apparent issues with OpenXCom handling 48kHz audio, I've released a new revision of this, based on the original lossless MT-32 captures down-sampled to 44kHz.

Dropbox

Readme:
Code: [Select]
This is revision 2 of my OpenXCom TFTD MT-32 music pack.

The reference music files for TFTD do not include GMWIN and GMLOSE. This is the music for the Victory and Game Over slideshows. Should this naming convention change a new revision will be necessary.

This revision was re-cut from the original MT-32 captures to a 44.1kHz final audio rate, to address issues with 48kHz audio in OpenXCom.

---------------
Install like any other OpenXCom Music Pack:

Extract the contents into <datadirectory>/SOUND, overwriting as necessary.

In Game Options -> Audio, make the following changes:
set Music Format to OGG, or else make sure there are no other GM*.* files in the directory.
Set Audio Sample Rate to 44.1 KHz
---------------

Further details might be available at:

And a new release, this time to flex the MT-32's integrated Reverb circuitry, which I absolutely adore.

This is available from the Mod Portal, just like the previous version.

VERSION 2.x RELEASES REQUIRE AN OPENXCOM BUILD WITH SDL_Mixer2. AT TIME OF WRITING THIS IS ONLY THE EXPERIMENTAL ANDROID AND iOS BUILDS.

IF YOUR BUILD DOES NOT HAVE THIS, TRACKS WITH OVERLAPPING REVERB WILL SOUND SLIGHTLY BROKEN ONCE EVERY 2 LOOPS.

I've got Max Reverb uploaded, I intend to have Enh Reverb uploaded in a day or two.
