Way I see it, surely a panicking soldier can be comforted by a psionic attack...

"Your friends are sleeping!  You'd better take their guns and fire away!"

I think the ability to regain soldiers lost to mind control was a great openxcom feature.  Surely other effects can be reversed.

A reverse of the 'panic' attack.  Good for those rookies holding rocket launchers...
