Any reason if you don't mind me asking?  It's strange that your gals figure out how to make acid rounds . . . but then don't make them for the vast majority of weapons they have.   :o

I used whatever came packaged with the latest Piratez, what needs upgrading?  Also, I did not have 10+ enemies in sight.  Max I got to was 8.  There are specific squares in the map, like the one shown, that if stepped on form any angle CTD.  Also had things like this happening;


I had a unit with a Cannon standing where the movement box is.  On the alien turn she went unconscious for no reason (was full health, no stun, no aliens shot at her) and her body ended up 2 squares away on the stairs while her cannon ended up inside the stairs and was not retrievable. 

Seems like a very buggy map.

On a terro mission with the latest version, and this map seems to have a lot of bugs.  Haven't been able to make it past the second turn due to certain squares on the map instantly CTD if I step on them. 


That square on top of the craft is the first one I ran into.

Game save attached.  Of course I am in ironman mode so I have no option but trudge the the mission.  This is gonna take forever.  :(

How can you tell what faction it is before sending a ship to assault it?  It seems about 3/4 ships give me negative scores.

I've recently had a string of missions that gave me negative scores for killing the enemy, ending up with missions giving me ~-150 to -450.    They were all combatants so I had no idea I would be penalized for killing them.  Is there anyway to tell which ships to not assault?

Your units can't deploy on top of grav-lifts, tried that :-/  I decided to overhaul more graphics and will update soon.

V4 is up for testing before I publish it on the portal.  Now has more custom graphics and animations and no longer uses U_WALL02 (shaving the MCD count down to 41), including fancy grav-lifts.  Mini-map view is matching now on all tiles and I cleaned up issues that were letting players see out of the ship through some corners and walk through one.  It also lights up the battlefield a bit more as well.

Assuming no one has any issues with it, I'll just need to update the ufopaedia image.

*Scratch scratch* There's already a modified Lightning in the FMP, but on the other hand, this one is so crisp... Maybe I'll take the Tactical Lightning and modify it a little to make it look more like the current model? Would this be okay?

Knock yourself out, just be aware that I am currently upgrading it's graphics with custom grav-lifts and whatnot so ya might wanna wait a bit. ;)

hey dude nice mod i like the idea and i went ahead and downloaded but suddenly, this happens. Can you help?

I have no idea how, but the zip on the mod portal somehow no longer contained the needed terrain files.  Strange since it had them before.  Fixed now. :)
