If you just need the research, you should be able to get it from the reticulan flies.

They can be found in medium size Reticulan UFOs and in Reticulan Base. As far as I know, Reticulan UFOs will continue to fly (and can be taken down) even after reticulan alliance research. Reticulan Base can be found where Imperial Drone lands. Sometimes.
Ah, I'm sorry I didn't elaborate. There are no reticulan UFOs flying anymore. If there were, this wouldn't be an issue. Only thing I see imperial drones flag as demons, but I'll try tracking them down in case the mission changes upon landing.

So... Where can I find Reticulan technicians? I may have screwed myself, because I managed to get the reticulan alliance research stuff before interrogating one of them, and now I don't know where to find any. The bounty mission about showing up at reticulan vats does not seem to include them, (or sirens for that matter) and I can't advance through the tech tree without them.

I feel a bit confused. Running a gray codex game and I think I might be softlocked due to research. I'm at the Boss rank but to get to the next one it tells me I need to interrogate a faction leader. Ok, but problem... I can't interrogate them. The option to do so is locked behind getting the Big Boss rank (which leads to Diplomacy research). And well, I can't get that rank without interrogating. See the problem? Now I'm sure there's some hidden thing I'm missing or it doesn't mean literally interrogate (which would make it misleading) but I'm a bit puzzled. Any advice? Or is this a bug after all?

Well, aside from me being afraid it was going to crash my game with names like STR_SMALL_NAZI when it appeared, a little bit poor taste all the same. But it's your decision and I won't argue with you about it.

What about the unapproachable UAC ship though? Do you need my save to see what I mean?

Speaking of which, I found another... that I can't interact with in any way. Any ship that goes to it just hovers there and does nothing. Interceptors won't attack, landing craft can't do anything. What's the deal?

Also, I sincerely hope that it's luke's extra UFOs that decided it'd be 'funny' to put a swastika shaped ship in the game and not you.

Well, Perhaps it's the live captures with voodoo that's causing it? Because that's how I do it.

If I still have a save around then, I'll post it. I hope that there wasn't critical research from live capturing doom creatures... and if so I hope there's more than one such ship.

Government enforcers
Anything from the Doom(tm) ship.

Well, no error this time. Just hangs. I've no idea if it's a retaliation or not, though. The screen goes dark and I'm unable to do much else. I can still alt-tab, weirdly enough. But the whole screen is on the screwed up color scheme.

The attached file is the save this problem shows up. Hope it helps.

Er, what? Then how do I fix the crash? Do I need to redownload the nightly build now or something?

Edit: I'm going to do a clean install again, and wipe the config files in the folder holding my saves as well. See if that helps

Thanks! That's helpful. Is there any other info you might want for the files I gave? If it'll help you pinpoint the bug, I mean.
