1. What will happen if i trying to revive unconscious soldier that surrounded by solders?

2. What will happen if soldier fall down from building to another soldier? Can i make tower of soldier with that trick?

OMG! That's a lot of text! :o. Are you a journalist? ;D.

It seems most of your suggestions mainly for user/beginner friendly interface. So much details. And that's great. But most of old games are very complex and it's far from beginner friendliness but it also the main attraction for people who likes old games because it's interesting and superfun.

My point is: "is it necessary to put that much details?". I think the current OXC is easy enough to understand "how to play" for most people.

This all just my personal opinion :).

Anyway, I really want those mark for primed grenade and throwing icon/tooltips where it's possible or not to throw.

Really you need to see an enemy to kill it? whats the force-shooting for?

We didn't know their exact location. So force firing is not efficient.

And yes explosive works best.

Also you can combo smoke grenade and the scanner (Best combo ever). It can save many lives of your soldier.

Don't forget it can detect moving things behind walls.

Yes, it can't detect static things but the aliens should move even just one square in 1 or 2 turns (in most cases). And you can just analyze their locations. Theoritically you can kill aliens in pitch dark situation with just your soldier sprite, scanner, and flashing cursor but your soldier must spoted them with normal night line of sight.

Night terror mission when i forgot to bring flare. The scanner's just save my life more than you can imagine. It's a great equipment. Why you call it useless? ???

Oh I don't know, perhaps it's the fact that few modders is able to include all language versions in the world in their work? :P

I don't mean that. I always use english in every game. Maybe the issue occur bacause miss coding/miss typo. None of us is perfect ;). Anyway total all language in the world is about 100 right? I think it's possible but required a tons of works :P.

Try delete option.cfg in my document/openxcom. Maybe that help. Maybe ::).

I got that issue too. But it only occur when im installed so many fanbase mods. Im not sure which one trigger that thing. Without fanbase mod i've found zero issue so far :).

It has nothing to do with standard mods list.

EDIT: The version i used was 1.0

Thanks for let me in :). BTW that's a lot of stuff there! I hope new aliens are strong enough for balance things up ;). Superhuman perhaps? This should be fun!

1.0 is out now. you should update it. I hope you making a new let's play but without mod that make the game easier (eg: grenade launcher because that kinda overpowered, blow torch, etc). I like your video. I hope i can be a soldier too :). And please tell MC to update his game.

Yes, even the weapons will shot by itself if it take damage. That's so fascinating and realistic.

Do you mean rar/zip version? because i used installer version.

EDIT: I extracted nightly and the mod is there (in ruleset folder)

Please fix the installer because the mod isn't there.

First thing i want to say is THANK YOU for all devs and other fans for creating this amazing game :) ;) :D ;D :'( (Dies happy).

Im just wondering why alien pick up items mod disappear in 1.0? Are they include in the game now? So the AI always pick up items?

It's nice they choose the shortest way but walking down from roof of the 2nd floor to the ground without any health lose is kinda "funny".

The maximum height are 4 blocks so maximum height you can jump down are 3 blocks and that's about 20 feet. I think it's okay if you jump from that height  especially soldier who ready to die defending the earth. ;)

Also with the advent of height explosion = 3 I have found that aliens hiding on level 3 and are now level 1 alive and kicking when I blow up a building.

I think that alien's just survive from that explosion as simple as that. Maybe that because explosion damage reduce from floor to floor if the building are still okay (no hole on the floor).
