emh.. but the isometric view does not allow complete vision sometimes...anyway her ein an humanist safehouse misison, gate is placed in an unrechable side of the fence, so it's impossible to enter in the house in the screenshot. Better move to an accessible side?

I have encountered this one too - AI will get stuck there but you may just destroy the fence.

Yet another map issue - reapers placement makes them unable to leave the house - even though there is destroyed wall where they will fit, map edge will not allow them to move there.

Similar to above possible map issue - ship door are blocked by vegetation so enemies cannot leave (though it is shot down enemy, so may be like bad luck, but still there should be no enemies outside then xD)

Got a possible bug on one map - this is "professional pest control" mission. Exterminator equipment is placed next to him where tree is, instead of under him (on pre-mission equip screen his eq from the ground was not available) - because of it it cannot be picked up without clearing the tree. Attaching save.

OK thanks, I've tried the option of removing MEGASCORPION_ARMOR from Piratez_Events.rul, we shall see if it works. I know this problem definitely didn't exist in 6.0.2 so I wonder what happened, but it's just skipping some research so no matter.

Also I guess I could be wrong about it being Windows 7 - I mean it could be Vista, they share mostly the same appearance. But that would be worse.  8)

If I understand the files properly:
There's a new event which gives pedia entry about random enemy armor and the megascorpion option was missing from research.
Removing megascorpion armor from event will allow it to fire properly but never give you the scorpion entry (small loss), but now there is also mod posted which should fix the missing research option.

I encountered that bug as well, but I deleted the save and restarted before thinking to submit it. Clean installation as well.

Bit of a shame particularly since we've currently got screenshots of the error happening on a Windows 7 machine (FFS it's out of support, stop using it!) and a Windows 11 system, so with my Windows 10 install it would complete the trifecta. :)

There are possible fixes in Bugs & Crashes thread.
Nice that you recognize Windows version by, well, windows xD

The game stopped crashing for me after I added below code to Piratez.rul:

- name: MEGASCORPION_ARMOR

  destroyItem: true

I put it above GIANT_BEETLE_ARMOR code which looks the same except name - it seems other armors have such entry but megascorpion one was missing?
Note I only quickly checked if there is crash - can't say right now if game will not crash later

There's a bug after the first Ninja event for me.

I have got same crash issue but hard to tell what is triggering it.
To reproduce:
- load save
- skip time on geoscape (ignore prepper camp mission, I have skipped time by 30 minutes)

This is clean installation and game started from beginning.

Hi, playing new version and I have just used tiny drill.
This spawned an anomaly and now I am confused a bit - should I research it? Because when I research it it's doing some strange thing in tech tree viewer where the "use drill" option is no longer marked (is pinkish, instead of blue) also prerequisite 2 becomes crossed off.

This is my second playthrough but the first one was some time ago and on lower difficulty and I just don't remember if I researched it or skipped it (might be I haven't noticed).
Basically the question is - to get the items from codex etc. what should be done after using tiny drill? I have a save from before using it but frankly I don't want to play the game just to find out I somehow made a mistake in research and it will lock me out of codex or something ;)

Mansion Invasion

Is it normal to lose equipment when evacuating from this kind of mission? I just had first mansion invasion, it went good but got few gals heavily wounded (and got no medikits because of inventory limit - my bad) so around turn 15 I decided to retreat with what I grabbed. After the mission I got "not enough equipment to fully reequip squad" and it contained a lot of stuff which then was not present on my ship.
I am using the old inventory system and I have a lot of things loaded "just in case" - it is more flexible for me. Was all that stuff laying somewhere and I abandoned it or it is some bug?

I don't know if the guns of the patriots mission is from this update or before, but reinforcement comes too fast and in substancial numbers (5 that I could count on round 7). Considering the amount of nazis in the mission, I think it would be more fitting of the description  to have then arrive a bit latter. Also a countdown would be nice, as that clearly inform the player how much time is on the clock.

To be fair description states you have to hurry, though finishing this in 5 turns seems impossible. I have to say that reinforcements on this mission are quite strong and make it a challenge compared to humanists alone.

I second the reinforcement timer though (even a 1 turn alert will be fine), once I had reinforcements spawn just behind my soldiers (though not on this mission - on bandit town, so they didn't do much damage) - since they act immediately it was surprising and I think unpreventable.

Also I had like 5 missions of this type and 4 times humanists just blew whole warehouse during panic or misplaced shot(s) resulting in at least half of them dying - is this intended? Maybe it should blow when an explosive is used? Otherwise I would not place people with firearms near that stuff :P

Hello,

I am on first playthrough and loving the mod so far :D

It however appears I am reaching some moment where I may be stuck with research because I cannot find guild engineer (I see a lot of important techs gated and missing only this research).
It seems they are not on small ships, neither also on medium or large which I downed lately and got some guild pilots, but no engineer sadly. They are also not on typical Guild related missions like warehouse wars. Not gonna lie I am quite aggressive with interceptions lately (got first true interceptor and it rocks), so I am a bit worried bigger ships might not spawn due to this.
Where I can find one? Should rush the !campus massacre! (or similar name) research to find him there?

Full frontal assault with best troops + tritanium ammo probably - I think nothing survived there including the doctor ;)
Gotta admit at one point I felt kinda too strong so obliterating everything felt nice and the missing Shambler research I have spotted quite later.
The being too strong feeling kind of still persists also now unless fighting aliens or deep ones, which pose some threat (and maybe MiB, but I had only one mission with advanced units and upgraded since then, so kind of hard to say)

I think the only active mission types are:
- Aliens of course
- Zombie (forgot about the lair mission on map)
- MiB (need to catch commander or someone different than agent/medic)
- UAC (just had mission to capture UAC manager I think)
- Cult Of Apocalypse (Just located outpost, also communion is a nice training ground for rookies in power/cyber armor)
- Underwater City (failed to capture squad leader on 1st mission, I hope there will be more)
- Osiron popping out sometimes (just had hacienda but noone interesting to catch there)
- Hybrids are still spawning missions even though I can already recruit them (or just researched that) and destroyed total of 3 embassies
- Oozes
- Cyberweb lair popping sometimes (I ignore those as there is nothing interesting there)

Yeah that's the ones. I did not play TFTD but now I am curious what is in there ;)

Anyway thanks for replies, I hope I will get more UFOs again. Also it turns out I kind of locked myself out of part of research as I never captured Shambler and now both syndicate and creatures are defeated.
