Changing the colour for the dogfight interception window.
« on: January 02, 2020, 03:17:35 pm »
Hi, I want to change the colour for the dogfight interception window to a green color. Please see screenshot.

For 1) I want to change the window outline to green.

For 2) I want to change Icon to green from blue.

I know the interface.rul has the details needed to be tweak. However, which section and also how?

Thanks.

I know the interface.rul has the details needed to be tweak.

And what makes you so sure? As far as I know, it doesn't.

This is related to the dogfight section, is it not? However, changing its color attribute has little effect. So, it has to be elsewhere, but where can the changes be made? Which ruleset?

It's not just a ruleset, there's an image you need to edit: https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php/INTERWIN.DAT

In the INTERWIN.DAT sprite.

For the button press effects to work correctly, you need to use a range of 7 consecutive colors (vanilla uses blue 81,82,83,84,85,86 and 87) and in the interface.rul ruleset specify a value of the first color (vanilla uses 81).

Thank you Ohartenstein23 and Meridian, I will give this a try in the weekend. The conditionals I have to try it later. Not enough time tonight. Thank you all again.
