Saving civilians
« on: October 22, 2019, 05:21:44 am »
If I get a mission with civilian NPC's running around, and I KO them and drag them all to the escape vehicle and then abort, does that count as saving them? Or will they still be automatically killed as if I had abandoned them?

No, you can't save them like this.

Are there any mods that make regular unarmed civilians less suicidally aggressive? Or failing that, that make them prioritize finding a weapon over running up to enemies and punching them?

Yeah, it's called a dart pistol in your quickdraw slot. ;)

pfff, there is over 6 bilions of civilians, but you have just few dozens  of soldiers. No reason to waste any effort to save them :D.

Theres plenty of easier ways how to keep score... btw if i remember corectly you get fine score even when you lost most/all civilians, and none of your soldiers. Ofc depends on number of enemies/difficulty.

Or a punch if you're close enough. The council still penalizes you for harming civilians, probably because they're aware that your agents might have long fingers, which they totally do, but it's mere coincidence, I swear! These phones fell on my pocket.

probably depends on mission too.
reason i very very rarely do police vs monster or terror missions is that usually all civilians die and i get like -600 score from that. and thats already including enemies killed...

What difficulty do you play? If i remember correctly i really got nice score even  with all civilians dead....
