finding laser lenses and cloacking devices

I'm already 2 years into the game and i still can't figure out how to put my hand on a cloaking device nor where can i get more laser lenses. Anyone can help me with these ?

Cloaking device should be available from an early shop, though I can't recall which unlocks it for purchase.  Laser lenses can be gotten through taking apart lasers, and can sometimes be looted.  Both should be available by around the sixth month at the latest, I think, are there any early researches you've been putting off?

thanks, i don't think i missed on any early research (emphasis on I THINK), i already got the hyper decoder and researched through laser and a whole bunch of different contacts and mission types. I'll look through the manufacturing screen and see if i missed it out since i got a bunch of laser weapons lying around in my storage.

Use captives to fill research topics.
The *get one for free* roll can fill important research holes.

thanks I actually did that one and its pretty useful but I can only produce 3-4 ship types all in all when in practice I already got laser tech which seems weird.

Laser lenses can be extracted from all lasertech-based weaponry using the workshop *dissamble* feature.
If you can buy *craft charger laser* just disassamble one of those to get 4 laser lenses.

here's the thing though - i still can't find the cloaking device anywhere, i have laser tech (ship and gear) but still nothing...any help would be really appreciated

Cloaking Devices can only be bought for 75k each using the black market.

The research topics that lead to cloaking device are: "Shadowtech" "Communications" and "Contact: Merchants"
The device can't be manufactured and can't be found as a loot drop.

Maybe attach your save-file for us so we can check where the problem lies.

i just discovered the q shortcut....god i feel so stupid. Sorry for this post, I found in the black market after hitting q. Apparently i had it for over a 1-2 game years and didn't notice it
