The rain in Spain stays mainly in Sweden

In my game the Sweden area is named "Spain". Is that normal? It seems wierd, but maybe not too wierd for this mod.

However, since Berlin, Russia, London et cetera are where I would expect them to be it seems to me there is something wrong with my install. Since I've no clue how to fix it or even if it is something wrong, I'm asking here.

I noticed that when you make a new base the regions still have their old earth names like siberia and north america.Can it be changed or is it hardcoded?

Is it as easy as just changing some names in the rules.ini?I think i could help in that case

What exacly should i look for when changing the names at the base creation?What line of code dictates what name appears at that state as i see a ton of pieces of code about area but i cant figure out which is for new base construction.

Find for example:

STR_NORTH_AMERICA: "North America"

and change it to:

STR_NORTH_AMERICA: "New India"

You don't want to change it directly, I recommend making a mod instead.

EDIT:im starting to realise that some things like venezuela and siberia or north america seem to not have a piratez namesake unless i dont know much of the lore of those regions.
I didnt have intention of translating the piratez versions of the map to other english languages but to try to correct any of those mistakes which in hindsight was trying to fix something that wasnt broken in the first place,unless piratez has namesakes for the continents and not just the countries.

No, you're looking at autosave file. What you should be looking at is en-US.yml file, it contains all strings related to that. It's located at \user\mods\Piratez\Language folder, but I'd strongly advise against tinkering with it.

I see,i will test it to find out how it affects the game.

Actualy i wonder if dioxine will change the region names or will keep them as such.I find it odd how while every country and city has its name changed but not the region

I would imagine he would get around to it eventually but it's only the one popup screen.

Then again he changed the text to when you try to make a base underwater so there is that too.
Although this isnt the place for speculating what or if there will be any region renames
