I sold all my Military shotguns and cannot buy more, any help?

So, I was happy using Heavy Shotguns as my kill-up-close gun and was looking forward to the Kustom Blunderbuss. A vault crisis (too much stuff, not enough space) meant that I sold all the old guns I wasn't using, including the military shotguns.

Now I can't find one for love or money. They don't appear on the black market and the stuff I am fighting comes loaded with gauss and laser guns.

Have I messed up, or is there a contact I haven't met yet?

There is no military shotgun vendor. You will find lower-tier equipment if you do lower-tier UFOs and missions.

I advise you to build more storage places, and don't sell anything you can't buy, build or easily find more of.

Seems a pity that there isn't a vendor for some outdated tech when other outdated tech is readily available.

Mansions, reticulan outposts, gov't ordinators/cruisers, raider gunships/fighters, hoppers, excavators, couriers, freighters, light gunboats, military transports, scouts, runabouts, and cutters all possibly have enemies with military shotguns.  The freighters and couriers are probably your best bet, though excavator (resource extraction) missions tend to have plenty of chances to catch them on the ground.

That being said, if you can get the Kustom Blunderbuss, you're not far from shotguns and slug guns that outclass the military shotgun, so don't worry too much about not having military shotguns.
