Cant find it on the wiki, read or this forum (great documentation), but are you supposed to play this mod on ufo or tfdt damage settings ?

On UFO settings. 0-200%
Quoting from the game's readme file:
NOT recommended OpenXcom options:
- Instant Grenades [You can throw multiple grenades in this mod and they won't destroy eache other]
- Alien Weapon Self-Destruction [unless you never want to have top-tier guns]
- TFTD Damage Formula [already applied to *some* weapons]
