It gives me this message:
OpenXcom has crashed: signal 11

I've attached the log.

Looks like the game is failing to play the intro audio.
Which version of X-COM do you have? What audio files does it have? (check the UFO\SOUND folder). If it uses MIDIs, you'll need to have the timidity package installed.
