My vote would be for the "straight" pouches.  I really like how they pop.

Edit: The thing I like most is the black snap fasteners.  They might look great on the curved variants too.

The straight shoulder pouches make the breasts... really pop out and unnatural.

It's Pixel Graphics - They will look odd anyway, though I might be able to reduce it

I would go with the rounded, HOWEVER keep the darkened clasps/zippers/buckles that the straight pouches have.

Suggestion accepted

Lastly, I would suggest moving the left leg pouches (around the kneecap??) lower or higher as wrapping pouches around your knee doesn't seem ideal.

Hmm... I'll look into this.

Update: I've almost finished the night ops gear, (test pick attached) I just have a little trouble with the camoflage stripes.

Any Ideas/sugestions on what one to do next?

Though I might use the idea.

You mean camo for the default 'naked' outfit? I haven't made it very far in the game, but I saw there was a camouflage military outfit. Does it give any stealth modifiers? (I'm assuming it doesn't). If it does, camo paint should be an early research thing.

That's closer - I'll have to try and match colours/pixels though.

As it is I'm going to have to cutdown on my computer use untill late monday. I'm going to have to suffer through another eight Open House sessions this weekend - I really hope Mum can sell her house this time.

Photoshop works for digital graphics.  Open X-Com uses 256 colour pallets of a particular type combined with 320X200 pixel resolution.

Makeing the changes to the image is easy, makeing sure they don't look like a stoners dream/nightmare is much harder takes longer, Often upward of an hour or more an image.

32 images at 1hr plus each equals 3 or more days work for each one of these graphic packs and that's without adding in Work, Household problems, Family (babysitting my neice) or anything else life throws my way.

Besides I do this because I want to.

I hear ya. I'm sure you can pull the Xcom palette into Photoshop and do it directly from there, but I haven't had the need to until now. If I ever do those ship graphics someone mentioned, I'll probably do it like that.

I don't use Photoshop - I always seem to destroy any images i make with it.

I use PaintShop Pro 7 and other programs instead.  And  extracting the pallets was the first thing I did when starting this progect.
