I've got a problem now

Whenever I try and load the mod in 099F, I get an error that I cant load the mod as there is a bad node in  the file "Ufopedia.rul"

Does anyone know what this is - I've included the file below.

You're trying to modify entries, which don't exist in PirateZ (have been either removed or moved to naughty mod).
For example:

Code: [Select]
ufopaedia:
  - id: STR_PIR_NUDE_UC
    listOrder: 1591

If you do this... it will try to create a new pedia entry... and fail, because "type_id" is mandatory.

It's even worse than that :)
You'll have to make sure that naughty mod loads first (=is higher in the mod list than your mod).

And remember, that many people will have naughty mod turned off... so if you don't include full definitions (or make this part of your mod optional as well), it will fail too.

If I were you, I'd just ignore all things from naughty mod; resp. everything not in the base game.

Almost done - just pruneing the code and makeing a few small tweeks.

If I were you, I'd just ignore all things from naughty mod; resp. everything not in the base game.

That doesn't work - if I do that the swimsuit (and others) get swapped out for underwear regardless of if they have an underwater version or not when the naughty mod is used.

Almost Done - Have created a seperate version specificaly for the naughty mod, just have to test it.

Hopefully next couple of days.

Update done.


Version for XPiratez 0.99F4 is now here on my Google Drive - File is PAAC_V0-99F4.zip

Please delete all older versions before installing this one - there have been more changes to the file layouts with this update.

NOTE: PAAC V0.99F4 now comes as two mods - The Standard one and one specificly made to be used with the Naughty mod.
          Please make sure BOTH these mods are listed under the Naughty mod, this will make sure that the mods don't conflict.
          You might have to shift them up/down the list to do this.

More Avatars?   :'(   Great - More work, I'll try to get the mod updated ASAP, as well as looking at the paperdoll updates.

Hope there haven't been any changes in the armour stats, pure graphics updates are easy.

There have been changes to armor stats, chiefly psi resistance is dependant on morale now ... And believe me, I know your pain, I have 80 armors to upgrade every time :)

At least my new desktop is almost up and ready - all the graphics/text editors have been reinstaled/coppied over.

Now if I could just find a easy to use simple bitmap editor - without all the useless stuff they try to add.

And believe me, I know your pain, I have 80 armors to upgrade every time :)

And that's why the work my Siren mod has slowed down.

Does anyone know if you can turn/change that piece of sh*t program that Windows 7 calls 'MS Paint' back into the actually useable version included with Windows XP and earlier.

If not, does anyone have sugestions for a replacement.

I like GIMP for editing sprites (since it's open source), and Tylor wrote a nice plugin for it that converts colors to custom pedia palettes, probably wouldn't be too hard to get one for converting to other palettes.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 for most of my work - pallets, sprites, and file types ect.

What I need is a easy to use simple bitmap editor - without all the useless stuff that programers try to add - for the little fiddely bits of the editing.
