Chaos gate for those not in the know was a iso turn based game based in the 40k universe and was a cracking game! Highly recommended by myself

Also Final Liberation has also been released, which just happens to be one of my fav games of all time, even if its not as on topic as Chaos gate  8)

Some of the stuff on Gog are amazing.  To think I went out of my way to get a copy on ebay, but I never had time to get into it.  Easier to play dawn of war...  Good thing GOG work out how to make them compatible with new operating systems and all.

Chaos Gate was/is awesome, but it was plagued by a gambreaking SOUND/WAVE issue on anything newer than Win95, I hope they were able to fix that?

The sound effects, voices and music were really good and fitting, and the game even came with a map-editor and the ability to play as Chaos in MP, even though I never ad someone to play against me back in the days  :P

Final Liberation, I played that one, too. I remember getting my ass kicked in a FL MP game...  :D

I've never played Chaos Gate, but I've only heard good stuff about it, so I maybe I'll find the time to check it out now.

I played Final Liberation multiplayer though, with Dioxine*, and have really fond memories of it. It was buggy as hell, at least for a turn-based game, and quite unfinished, but it was still pretty sweet (Epic mechanics is pure fun). I can only imagine what some modders could do with it nowadays. (Look what amazing things they did with Dawn of War, and it's just a filthy RTS. :P)

* Empire is overpowered. :P
