42) The Mobile Hyper-wave Decoder can be equipped on Crafts (1 slot - 1 max per craft).

Research needed: Hyper-wave Decoder

Research hours: 450
Manufacturing: $560,000 for parts, 820 Engineer Hours.
Workspace: 20
Sell Price: $840,000

The Mobile Hyper-wave Decoder has half the detection radius of a Base Hyper-wave Decoder (to be tweaked).

If this is not possible with the slot for weapons, perhaps adding a button top of the screen to permit to choose the onboard radar (just like the armor button for soldiers).

seem useless
but for clarification
how do you equip extra radar on a craft? as a weapon ?
so with two hyperwave weapon i have a mobile base radar?

The player has not 8 bases during all game, and it takes time to build the Hyper-wave Decoder for each new base; and some players don't play the game with 8 bases all the time.

Yes, equipped in a weapon slot, only 1 max per craft.

Nothing.  ;)

I had just specified this for a better game balance, and to avoid answers like: "Why not just simply build a base.", "OP, more powerful than a radar base.", etc.
...and it missed.  :D

You could limit the range of the decoder, after all, this is a mobile version. It could help the fighter track the alien ship after it escapes the base's range. Also, it's cost could be similar to the hyperwave decoder facility (although I'm not familiar with late game costs, so maybe just make it really expensive).
