hm... sounds perfect. sadly i am a linux-noob. must i edit the usr/bin/openxcom? .... well, could u explain how if u have time and its not too difficult?
Binaries are not "editable" (technically, they are, but it's not general practice), you need to access the source code from GitHub

You'll also need a C++ compiler, and all the dependancy libraries

edit your options.cfg in your home directory (or wherever it is) and set "captureMouse" to "true"

cool, thx, cant wait the next release :).

btw. i saw that the aliens in the base are now all calculated. would be nice if u could get a popup over the prision or something so that u can see how many aliens "live" in the base. atm i had no problems with that, but maybe with the new patches its more important.

anyway - u do all a really great job. love to play xcom again. everything works fine and as usual and even better. played until june until now. sadly i saw no sectoid - leader. just mutons attacking. so no psy-defence :/.
is the chance, that a ufo will land smaller? just a guess.

no need to wait for the next release, just compile the current master, i'm sure someone on IRC or something can walk you through it.

Well, one per base. It has a 100% detection ratio and greater range than the radars, so they become obsolete.

Of course, you still have to have a craft wander inside your detection radius when the hyperwave decoder "pulses", (once every 20min, right?) so be careful of where you place your bases and which ones you upgrade your detection for first. :)
