What's with the line of equipment icons anyway?

I guess with the 80 item limit it gave an indication of how much space you had left? Maybe there ought to be a weight limit...? Though it'd take an awful lot of gear to cause realistic issues, I guess.

It's probably reasonably useful in terms of figuring out whether you have too much equipment loaded for the amount of soldiers you're taking, or too little. Also stops you from sending soldiers without ANY equipment. :)

Yeah that's what I used it for, it gives you a reasonable idea whether you forgot to equip your soldiers.
