Why's there a 15 second delay in there? After you change to Disabled, do you perhaps wait 15 seconds (where it counts down if you want to keep the settings), and then it crashes?

After I press 'Ok', the complete interface freezes (screen and mouse are 'stuck'). After 10 (or maybe 15?) seconds, the game crashes.
If this can't be fixed, at least people can find this thread to know how to use the text editing workaround to get the game working.

I'm happily playing now... the game is great!

@Sander Bouwhuis can you check older versions too? like do OXC work, do OXCE 7.12 work or OXCE 7.11 work?

I tried v7.11.
1. Delete options.cfg
2. Start OpenXComEx.exe
3. Go to options
4. Go to fullscreen
5. Set native resolution
6. Change 'disable' (which was selected) to 'raw'
7. #CRASH#

Yankes made some changes for OXCE 7.13.1: https://github.com/MeridianOXC/OpenXcom/commit/0038f67fe0fd5644e3497c1def6b36a7eee8a29f

@Sander Bouwhuis: can you retest if it still crashes?
