Author Topic: Enabling a custom music mod (Cydonia's Fall OST) doesn't change the music  (Read 1882 times)

Hi, I downloaded the Cydonia's Fall OGG OST mod, put it in the mods folder with other mods, enabled it in the menu, but the music remains the same.
Tried to start a new game and downloading the FLAC variant, but I'm stuck with the default music.
Love the CF's soundtrack, so would appreciate some help on this!

I'm using the latest nightly build for Windows.

Just tried the OGG version myself, no other mods active tho, and it's working. Maybe try disabling any other mods in case any of them is somehow interfering. Also, just in case, sharing the log file might shed some light on what could be happening.

Here's the log (tried both the OGG and FLAC version, but never both of them at the same time). I'm using the Final Mod pack and the music mod is at the bottom of the mods list. The log seems ok.

I see, well, at least the log allowed me to know your'e using OXC, I tested this with OXCE.

Tested again with OXC 1.0 git 2024-02-28 07:04 and it also works.

Tested again with FMP and again it works, I did notice we're using different mods for the OST, yours appears as UFO_Cydonias_Fall_OST - OGG Complete v1.0 while in mine is showing as UFOCF_Soundtrack_OGG v2016

Thank you for taking the time to check and reply!

I managed to fix it. Looks like I downloaded... the wrong zip somehow - noticed it didn't contain an .yml file and found the right one. I guess that's a clear sign I shouldn't be downloading game mods at 6 in the morning, while I'm half asleep, haha.
