What is the best place to get an engineer alien

things went great until aliens started to use turrets. Im stuck with progress and i looked up that i need alien engineer for next researches. What is the safest and best mission to get alien engineer? Thanks

One of the small-medium UFOs? Large Scout, Excavator, Sentry Ship...

Large Scouts are used in a variety of missions, so they should still be plentiful. Just don't shoot it up, the engineer is next to the Power Source and tends to go with it.
