co-op main campaign

Hey guys, I'm looking to play some xcom co-op main campaign mode with family and friends. Anybody know if it's possible?

I read the about page which recommended UFO2000, but vs battles or even standalone co-op battles is completely uninteresting without the main attraction: the campaign. I am hoping someone has made a good mod for it and it hasn't been updated on the about page, or maybe a tip of some other game that's close to what I'm looking for.

by design OXC is single player game same as original game. No modding could change, only rewrite of engine could change it but this would be too big for scope of OXC.
