GOG Version of X-com
« on: May 30, 2017, 09:55:10 pm »
So I have the GOG version of X-com and when I tried to install Open X-com I guess it doesn't recognize that version because it keep telling me the installation failed. Any ideas on how to get Open to work with that version? Thanks.

Got a vague recollection the installer asks you where the xcom files are.  You'll have to install the gog version somewhere else, and tell the openxcom installer where to find the files.  At least thats what I recall last time I installed OpenXcom...

Can you post the error message? Nightly installer should handle GOG installations fine, I've tested it myself.

I have the GOG version and it has never had any problems. Check and make sure you have installed it correctly.
