That's were all the disappointment lies, since there's NO reason they should forget.

But of course it would be a bit too much to force the player to "constantly" defend himself.

Thanks for the replies.  Its a bit interesting because I got two base defense missions in North America (I have no defenses to shoot them down) and I didn't really notice much scouting activity.  That said, my Hyperwave decoders aren't online yet so its certainly possible.
