What happens when aborting mission with Aliens onboard (Chryssalid, Zombie, etc.), and with Civilian?

Live Aliens should be brought to the base, and Civilians be safe.

How it is taken into account for the end of mission report?

For aliens, I saw a piece of code that counts it as a capture.
For civilians, I don't remember such thing. So in a terror mission, if you somehow manage to prod a civilian into the skyranger and lift off, I guess the program considers him "killed by aliens".

Thank you for the clarifications!

I will try to look at this next time I have some time to play the game.  :)

Stun the Civilians, threw them into the Skyranger, then threw them out somewhere safe.

It makes sense. I like that. :)
