Splendid work on the tileset! I'll add it to the release!

As for the interwin, well, I doubt it is possible to make it better, but 1) it is still kinda ugly, 2) you'd need to do it for all the ships... So not sure if worth the effort :)

Yup, just need to match up the colors. :)  I don't remember which are which off the top of my head. :)

Looks cool! But it also looks like it needs mod than one wall tile per wall style. It's ok for all clean walls to be the same, but it looks a bit repetitive if they all have thenough same stain (particularly the white one).

Stunned Corpses:

After brainstorming in chat yesterday, I volunteered to work on the corpse bigobs to provide an alternate for "stunned" units that wasn't bloodied and gibbed.

I have finished cleaning all the bloody corpses, but began to wonder if it might be good to have an even more distinctive indicator.

What if the stunned corpses were flipped in their facing?

as see in this image (dead, current stunned, flipped stunned)

If the flipped version is desired I will provide them.

At this point I need to work back through all the current corpses that aren't bloody, and provide a bloodied version of them.  Most of these are of the humanoid female form.

I like the right one. It's a little less gory.

Try to paint the blood in RGB mode, with half-transparent brush, then convert back to Indexed. The blood will come out as more natural - here it looks painfully ketchup-like.

Good idea, you rarely have more than one body on a screen so you can spare yourself the horizontal mirror.

Overall the blood pool feels too big and gory.

I've added a bit of transparency, changed the drain path to the side, and reduced the size of the puddle a bit, and I like the look now.

Thanks for all the feedback.  The collaboration helps. :)

I have complete reworking all the corpses.  There are now 266 bigobs.  I've put them all in one .zip foldezip folder and placed it in the Google Drive folder (which I have also cleaned out).   Unfortunately I wasn't able to index them, so I don't know if the palettes with be problematic.  I tried to stay as true as possible to stock colors.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3LA7DXD41YYcS00RnpHODMzN0E  here is the link again.

Per our IRC chat, I have them alternating facings.  As a general guideline, deads face Right and stunned face Left. ;)  because Arbitrary. Thats why. ;)
Also, they have all been saved as .pngs. no more .gifs

Is there a technical reason you've chosen .png over .gif, or it's just to make the format uniform and the .png was chosen more or less at random?

No Technical reason, other than that the free online image editor I use ( pixlr.com ) and MCDEDIT only save to .pngs.   That and its one less thing to be careful of in the rulesets.  Many of Dioxine's early graphics are saved in .gifs, while the more recent ones tend to be .pngs as far as I can tell, as well.
