[TFTD] Combo Patch v1.8 (updated September, 10th)

Ok as there was no combo bug fix patch for TFTD I decided to start one.
Here we go:

map fixes:

volc10 added missing ground

gal01 added missing ground
gal02 added missing ground
gal03 added missing ground

mu01 added missing ground
mu02 added missing ground
mu04 added missing ground
mu06 added missing ground
mu09 added missing ground

atlan05 added missing ground
atlan10 added missing ground
atlan12 added missing ground

entry03 fixed misplaced wall tile
entry04 added missing doors
entry05 added missing doors
entry07 added doors and interiors to inaccessible area
entry08 added missing doors

abase01 corrected misaligned lifts

cargo00 removed a barrel that blocked path-finding

linerb02 added doors to dead-end room
linerb03 (only rmp file) made sure that no huge units spawn in small rooms where they can not get out

grunge07 (only rmp file) changed two nodes to prevent large units to become stuck
grunge08 removed faulty object that blocked door
grunge09 added missing ground tile

alship06 removed/replaced blocking object with two walls to make tile accessible

alart03 (only rmp file) made sure that no large aliens spawn in there, they could not get out
alart07 added ground to tiles where it was missing (bug kindly reported by Caleb13)
alart10 added several missing ground tiles, corrected buggy corner tile (bug kindly reported by Caleb13)

coral11 removed strange object that blocked a tile

island12 (only rmp file) fix for out-of-area nodes (file kindly provided by hellrazor)

port05 (only rmp file) fix for out-of-area nodes (file kindly provided by hellrazor)
port17 (only rmp file) fix for out-of-area nodes (file kindly provided by hellrazor)
port20 (only rmp file) fix for out-of-area nodes (file kindly provided by hellrazor)

plane05 to plane11 missing ground added (file kindly provided by warboy1982)

ufopaedia fixes:

up013 and up014 corrected deep one ufopaedia color
up043 corrected flare picture in ufopaedia (file from the Xeno Wiper's UfonizingTFTD mod.)
up106 corrected background for M.C. Disruptor
up060 corrected Magnetic Navigation picture (File from Xeno Wiper's UfonizingTFTD mod.)
up067 corrected Zrbite background darkened to fit all other researches (File from Xeno Wiper's UfonizingTFTD mod.)
up069 corrected Ufo Construction picture (File from Xeno Wiper's UfonizingTFTD mod.)
up012 and up053 corrected Tasoth ufopaedia color

Notes:
All files are meant for both the original game and/or OpenXComTFTD.


Please feel free to add more bugfixes if you find/have them. And feel free to release the new patch then along with these files combined, ok?

Maybe you could include into your Combo Patch this:

TFTD seems also to have a lot of out of boundary nodes:
Unluckily the Triton Map Routes are effected, so basically unplayable, until someone fixes/redos those routes.

Those Routes need fixing.
Can provide you with fixed RMP Files for the PORT05, PORT17 and PORT20. They are indentical with the PORTUFO RMP files from the Terrain Pack, so you can use the ones i posted here
DO NOT use the LINERSHIP01 who is in there too, its only for UFO not for TFTD.

A fixed ISLAND12, is also there, see here
It's indentical to the ISLANDURBAN12 i posted there, just rename it, same goes for PORT RMP's.

hellrazor: Sorry for the late reply, I was sick for some weeks and still have to recharge my personal (X-Com) batteries.
I also have some minor hardware problems on my PC, until those are solved I can not update the file. Can you please be so kind and add your files and upload a v.1.5 for the community? If not, don't worry I will upload the file myself asap, it's already done and rests on my HD, but due to certain (virus? faulty memory?) problems I can't do that atm.


edit: Nevermind fixed it by changing the coomputer in the internet shop. And yes, it was a virus. (It hid my original files, made some exes that looked like links, the usual crap)

Anyway have fun and many thanks to hellrazor and Xenowiper for their kindness!

A small update here, fixed a route-file to prevent those hallucinoids/triscenes to get stuck in the GRUNGE mapblocks...

Ah, very nice, I've been looking for something like this for quite some time. However, I've noticed that your pack doesn't contain several map fixes Warboy posted (among other places) here:

https://openxcom.org/bugs/openxcom/issues/1251

Will you include them in some future release? Also, your pack is missing fix for impassable top left corner inside the 7x7 pyramid room (first part of artefact site mission).

Oh, thanks a lot Caleb13, I actually have warboy's fixes but I am unsure what EXACTLY they fix.

I will take a closer look at them now and add them if necessary. Some of the maps he fixes are also in the combo patch, I have to make sure that I do not reintroduce bugs, maybe he fixed something different. If that's the case i will try to merge the fixes.

And many thanks also for the info about that pyramid bug, I will fix it and add it to the next version. It might take some days, though, I do not have access to a computer for some time.

Ok, so I added warboys fixes, except the ones I already fixed and his Triton fix, as it replaces the triton landing size from 10x20 to 20x20. And I fixed the map you talked about Caleb13,


And sorry that I wrote Caleb18 in the readme, it should be Caleb13...  :-[

Awesome, thanks for compiling it together! The pyramid fix doesn't work for me, however. I'm attaching a screenshot, it's the corner with the cursor in it. Oh well, it's no big deal, aliens almost never hide in these small pyramids in OpenXCOM.

BTW, you really shouldn't have credited me. I did nothing after all, it was you who made this pack possible.

Ah, darn, that's another map! I fixed Alart07 (also missing ground), that map in your pic is another one.

Ok added the fix  AND a wagon-load of missing ground tiles on other maps, I think I have them all now. The TFTD developers ure were under pressure, literally every 3rd map has some minor or bigger glitches...

Is this patch still relevant or are these changes already made by the nightlies?
