WestWall MCD placed as Object
« on: December 05, 2020, 03:31:27 pm »
Usually wall corners are type: WestWall
But this is problematic when there is a fence adjacent: the fence itself, being too WestWall, prevents the placement of the wall corner.
Visually the missing corner looks bad and AFAIK might cause line of sight problems (i.e. can see behind the wall). See attached image.
So the question is:
is there a problem if, in those cases, I place the corner MCD in the Object slot (since the West slot is used by the fence)? See other attached image.
Thanks.

One problem I know is that object slot is used to defining if unit can overlap with tile if stand under it.
Right now OXCE work this way, OXC do not work this way but have some other display glitches that this behavior fix, ad this will be backported in some time to it.

I see thanks. I'll check ingame how it behaves, because adding and extra MCD, specific for that situation, to my library is problematic.
