Cult HQ assaults
« on: November 16, 2020, 09:01:42 pm »
If I let the HQ assault pass without doing it, do I get another chance? Also, does the HQ move?

Would it be possible to build a new base next to where it was for an APC, and then use the APC to attack it next time it appears?

Yes.

Also, does the HQ move?

Some of them have several locations.

Very much yes :) But depends on the cult, some have multiple locations.

And lastly, is it possible to completely close a base?

I know I can delete structures, but can I close the entire base?

Or instead of asking you could figure that one out yourself in ~10 seconds by starting a new game and building and dismantling a second base.

Ah yes, the "I am too lazy, please solve my problems for me" approach.

FYI, it's generally considered rude to treat other people like a glorified google prompt just because you can't be bothered to invest your own time.

Your question is positively trivial, you should be able to answer it yourself.

Or alternatively, rather than getting butthurt over it, you could just not reply if you don't feel like it? Crazy suggestion, I know :)

Imagine somebody shopping for shoes in a store and finding a nice pair, and instead of trying them on or looking at the size themselves they ask other customers what size the shoes they have picked are, and whether they could put them on for them. Why? Are they illiterate or disabled and need help doing that? No, of course not - they just don't want to go through the effort of doing it themselves, silly.

Upon being told that that's kind of rude and they can easily look up the size and even put on the shoes on themselves they act indignant and tell you to mind your own business. After all, they weren't asking for advice -  they were asking others to do their work for them.

Do you think that this is acceptable behaviour? Because as far as I can tell one of those people in the above example is acting kind of entitled.

Guys, I'm not stopping you or anything like that, but I really don't think this is a matter worth arguing about. I believe points were made, no big line was crossed, so we can just carry on happily.

the ironic part is that both spent way more time doing this then it would have taken either of them answer the question
