Not much from the Ramschacle box. Everything but hunting rifle goes one sale.

No love for the D-B Shotgun? It's one of my favourite weapons in the mod! :)

Hmm, never tried it. Isn't the need to reload every two seconds or so a bit problematic?
I will try next battle. after I research it and can actually buy some.

We learn how grandpa shot down an IL-2 with his trusty Mauser once. Don't believe a single word of his of course.

We also get some useless and useful ammo.

I also found the Cross and Rosary pages. I can't bring the Rosary, but I hope the Cross could be taken on missions.

Yeah, we found out that some aliens will show up on January 1st 1999. Also I can now research anti-ninja drone.

Oh, holy crap. There be Ninjas.

End of April. A solid positive score. Everyone is happy, but didn't deliver the million and something we require. Only the something.

I hope for a good infiltration mission to bring some Bags of Money.

The first mission spawn for the month. I only miss a Mutant Something for the Promotion 2 objectives.

Nope, sorry. You cannot even recover it.

The thing is, you are not a God's soldier! So any religious imagery wouldn't work for you. But if a real priest falls in battle, and you pick up his Cross, then you count as a temporary replacement and the Holy Spirit is with you for a while.

Quickly, someone write Crusader-COM/Jihad-COM submod. Any takers?

I just got a mini scare when I opened XCOM and found none of my saves. Turns out clicking default on the Settings also resets it to Enemy Unknown instead of xcomfiles.

Then It couldn't find my save, even though it was right there. Turns out not only I get reset to X-COM 1 but also the savefile is relabeled as such.
Now lets find where should OXCE bugs be reported.

OK, reported in github. Happens both with and without ironman.

That was an intense cultist mission. At least it would have been for me. I definitely would have gotten shot all the way up on like turn 5.
Out of curiosity, why didn't you go for the relative safety of the building to your right? I know the van and the forest helped block a bit, but clearly a lot of things were getting through, and you were just getting lucky juking them (or so it seems to me)

I thought that I will run out of ammo and will need to come back to the van to pick more stuff. I actually needed to pick a flare and medikits. I had only one Ironmanish moment when I redid something stupid on my part, except when I wanted to get shots that I forgot to do. To walk inside I needed to first secure the perimeter on the other side of the house, which would be problematic. A major problem was that I didn't bring enough flares.

Except for turn 1, there was only one shot coming through the house. There were soldiers close to it, at night I don't know what is on the other side and I don't want them to walk close to me. The house and especially the forest were of more help to the cultists than me.

They did miss more, but most of them shot at 50% accuracy or were wounded so that is fine. I was extremely lucky with the grenade on turn 1 and that Sailor missing with Magnum. I did get 3 wounded and I got hit 4-5 times.

A madman rampages in Canada. Probably because of the weather or the prices of liquor.

I now have 3 missions active: A madman, a Strange Creature and a Ninja Outpost. One of these teams must have a D-B Shotgun, but I don't remember which one so I will try it there.

The plan for the Ninja Outpost is to walk in shoot some faces and walk out. I already know there are invisible ninjas there. I have seen them. :)

Or may be I should roleplay that I didn't know there were there and get killed.

Oh and we researched a Red Dawnie Gangsta. He knew nothing but we got wisdom and insight.
