How to Use Tanks/Drones

Hi

how can I use Tamks or Drones? I have right now 1 Medical Drone and two Laser Tanks in my Storage. I can´t load them in my vehicles and the don´t appear when my base is attacked as well.

What should I do to be able to actually use them?

They are an armor for your AI units/scout drones.
