Sorry if this is the wrong forum/section, I’m not sure if I’ve ever even made a post here so I don’t really know where to put things.

Basically, title. I love TFTD more than any other XCOM game and would love to design new terrain and maps for it as I think it’s style and look are beautiful, and I have some really good ideas.

I know Voultar has made some form of editor, but I don’t know much about it.

you could try MapViewII (i'm the maintainer)

I don't have TFTD, but try to support TFTD completely (it's not that different from UFO but sometimes I need to request test-files...). It's an extension of the original MapView, but it's much advanced and i'll be releasing a/another massive update soonish.

https://github.com/kevL/OpenXCOM.Tools/blob/master/Distribution/README.md

Volutar's MCDEdit is an MCD/PCK/TAB editor.

MapViewII comes with
- MapView for creating/editing MAP+RMP files
- McdView for creating/editing MCD files
- PckView for creating/editing PCK spritesets.

if you try it and like it, do yerself a favor and read or at least browse the CHM helpfile before going too far,
