[Suggestion] Saving the info from the Motion scanner
« on: February 18, 2019, 05:08:46 pm »
I know, this is a tiny minor inconvenience that doesnt happen much.

But I was playing Xcomfiles, Black lotus HQ, and I just used the motionscanners at the start of the turn to see the enemy location with Alt, when I had to quit.

When I reloaded the game, pressing Alt didnt show any enemy locations anymore, but the spend timeunits were gone.

Could it be possible to save that info into your safefile?

I second this. Each enemy and neutral unit could be given a "motion scanner detected" variable which would go from false to true if revealed by scanners of any kind. In addition, have the save file store the coordinates of tiles where a scan was performed that turn so that holding Alt would also show the scanned areas.
Though I suspect this won't happen for reasons (one could be discouraging savescumming I imagine).
