Subject: Bullfrog Autopsy Report

After a year of eluding our research, we've finally managed to gain some insights into the so-called "Bullfrog"'s biology. Here is what we know so far - given what we've uncovered in the past, only the year before we would have assumed this to be a species unknown to science in the past...however, a more likely possibility in the times since then has emerged: that this creature could be of artificial origin. Unlike what we know about ancient amphibians, this thing is able to retain extremely fast metabolism, which explains how it can survive in Earth's environment. We also know about an extremely high-energy compound that was found in the corpses' bloodstream, and that this is likely the product of genetic manipulation.

While Alpha Werecats at first glance may seem like just another type of Werecat, they, in reality, happen to have higher cognitive functions, based on our interactions with the captured subject. It would appear that this thing is also capable of controlling the other members of its species, and, unfortunately, can also affect our agents with these cognitive abilities.

Shamblers, much like their Mongorn cousins, is an extremely muscled and strong creature. Thick fur provides this thing with protection against cold, heat, chemicals, shockwaves, and even small-calibre firearms. However, it also happens to be very flammable, much like Mongorns. This thing is practically a close relative of a sloth, now considered to be a living fossil.

X-COM Agents were able to deal with an extreme alert regarding bullfrogs in the central area of India. As a result, X-COM agents were able to move in and wipe out the bullfrog pest. As a result, there is very little of note.

After a month of searching, we've been able to locate the Duranthread Factory somewhere north of Alaska in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. X-COM agents were deployed to deal with the Red Dawn terrorists and were able to successfully take the factory into X-COM jurisdiction. Unfortunately, the drone unit known as Banshee and Agent Jules Moreau were both killed in the fighting. However, it should be noted that X-COM now has the capacity to begin research on the prospect of Duranthread manufacturing, which should be our top priority as soon as all existing research projects are completed.

Red Dawn Remnant Base Attacked in Joint NATO Counterterrorist Operation

NATO officials have announced that an attack against a vital Red Dawn remnant facility was launched earlier this afternoon with American and Canadian forces making up the bulk of the strike group sent against the complex. As of now, they've told reporters that one SEAL operative was killed, and one experimental medical drone was destroyed in the attack. Officials state that with the remnants of Red Dawn having lost a vital production facility, the organisation is now in an even deeper hole than in the immediate aftermath of their headquarters' destruction just a month earlier. We will continue to provide live updates as this story unfolds.

Subject: Cover: Scientists Investigation Report

As of now, X-COM forces have so far been able to infiltrate many walks of life, and now, we finally have a cover to use for our operations involving some of the more...elite groups of society. The idea is to use scientists as a cover in an attempt to bait the aliens into hunting for us, as well as use them to infiltrate medical and research groups across the globe. We hope that this will eventually become useful to future X-COM: PSA Operations.

Subject: Shambler Raider Interrogation Report

Shamblers are creatures that are adapted to cold temperatures, and live in Arctic biomes, eating any meat they run into - including humans. Their exact origin is uncertain, but they probably come from some distant past and were likely recently reawakened by the aliens, despite initial suspicions of human activity or natural phenomenon causing the creatures' reawakening. Their cosmopolitian distribution certainly doesn't help their case, and they tend to respond rather poorly to explosives, as prior operations have shown in the field, not to mention the encounters we've had with them being very dangerous.

Subject: X-COM: PSA General Strategy Recommendations Report

X-COM: PSA is currently in the verge of more and more breakthroughs, and given the increasingly overwhelming evidence of alien activity across the globe, X-COM has provided recommendations that we begin to infiltrate higher up along the ranks of the various terrorist organisations and criminal agencies being used by the aliens as proxies. In addition, we should dig deeper into the aliens and their technology, which would require a new research laboratory, as well as the recommendations to capture a live alien specimen, which our researchers should be working on at this time. Time is running out, so we should certainly hurry.

Dagonist Remnant Base Destroyed by Tunisian Forces

Tunisian officials earlier today have told state run media that a Dagonist remnant compound was attacked by government forces, who were attempting to field test Chinese ground combat drones that were purchased a few months prior. President Ben Ali has gone on to comment that a "great victory has been achieved for the Tunisian people against terrorism". Local officials have refused to comment on the situation to foreign journalists. We will continue to provide live updates as this story unfolds.
